About Me

I am the founder of Thompson Forensic Advisory Services (TFAS), a structure-based advisory practice grounded in real-world justice system experience, applied forensic psychology, and trauma-informed principles.

My work is shaped by over a decade of direct involvement in high-stakes environments where decisions, documentation, and human behavior carry real consequences. I specialize in helping individuals and organizations slow things down, regain clarity, and navigate complex systems with steadiness, accuracy, and ethical boundaries.

TFAS is not therapy, legal representation, or crisis care. It is practical, non-clinical advisory support designed to help people think clearly, regulate stress, and make informed decisions when pressure is high.

I bring disciplined, systems-oriented approach informed by military policing, criminal justice education, and ongoing training in forensic psychology, bridging the gap between psychological insight and operational reality.

Certifications & Professional Experience:

  • 13+ years of service in Military Policing, including leadership and supervisory roles
  • Bachelor's Degree in Forensic Psychology
  • Associates Degree in Criminal  Justice
  • Phi Alpha Delta - Law Fraternity
  • The National Society of Leadership and Success

Frequently asked questions

It all began with a simple idea fueled by a deep passion. As a small business, we pride ourselves on personal attention and dedication to every detail. Our approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that everything we do reflects our commitment to excellence.

Is Thompson Forensic Advisory Services therapy or counseling?

No. Thompson Forensic Advisory Services does not provide therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or mental health treatment. We offer structured, non-clinical advisory support focused on clarity, documentation, system navigation, and emotional steadiness during high-stress situations.

Who do you work with?

We work with individuals, families, professionals, and organizations navigating complex systems, prolonged stress, or high-stakes situations especially those involving legal, institutional, or administrative processes.

What types of support do you provide?

Our services include documentation review, case navigation support, stress regulation guidance, workshops, and professional advisory services. The focus is on organization, clarity, and informed decision-making, not treatment or legal representation.

How is advisory support different from legal or clinical services?

Advisory support helps you understand, organize, and respond to complex situations. We do not give legal advice, provide medical opinions, or act as expert witnesses. Our role is to support thinking clearly and navigating systems ethically.

Do I need to be in a legal case to work with you?

No. Many clients work with us because they feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward not because they’re in active litigation. Legal involvement is not required to receive support.

What outcomes can clients expect?

Clients often report improved clarity, reduced cognitive overload, better organization of information, increased confidence in communication, and a stronger sense of control when dealing with stressful or complex situations.

What happens if I need therapy, legal advice, or crisis support?

If your needs fall outside our scope, we will clearly communicate that and encourage appropriate referrals. Ethical boundaries are a core part of how Thompson Forensic Advisory Services operates.

How do I get started?

You can begin by scheduling an initial consultation or submitting a contact request through the website. This allows us to assess whether our services are a good fit and explain next steps clearly and transparently.
